I thought that I would write about some of my past Juby clients, so you would have a greater understanding of my role as an Interior Designer.
Mr & Mrs H contacted me for the second time, as they needed help with their ensuite.
They are busy people both working with two teenage children, that I had already redesigned a bathroom for. Their ensuite they wanted to be warm in feeling light clean and airy but to have a luxury feel too. Which you can’t blame them they work hard enough.
The existing ensuite was dark dingy and cluttered.
The selection process.
So again we went to fitted bathroom furniture. This gives plenty of storage for your bathroom bits and pieces so all can be put away. This also then makes it so much quicker to clean.
For the furniture, I had selected a wood-type finish but with a light and warm-toned grain. This creates a look of luxury.
Over the vanity unity, we had fitted an LED mirror. The mirror also was great for reflecting the natural light from the window which was on the opposite wall.
Using a soft warm beige colour bathroom paint to ensure good wear for an ensuite. Which contrasted beautifully with the white vanity units and the wood grain.
On the floor, we used Amtico to give a soft marble look but of course, Amtico is much warmer underfoot and hard-wearing.
The towel radiator was moved along the wall to create more space, and we installed a radiator that would work on electricity for the warmer time of year. It was also connected to the central heating so it could also run on that.
