So Friday (7th June 2019) was the next step for Juby Design by Kirstie. This was always going to be phase 2 of the business and I’m so happy to have achieved this.
Luckily, I found this property and secured it before it went to auction. The flat was very tired, unpleasant and smelly, but had amazing potential. Thank you to my loyal trades that have put up with me and my demands, I’m sure I have been driving you all mad over the last couple of months.
I thought you will enjoy the before and after pictures of each room. So less of my chat and here we go.
Manchester House, Kitchen.
This was a dark and gloomy space. So by removing the wall and making the living area open plan, now gives a light and airy modern feel.
This was extremely old and broken and not maintained. So I just wanted it to look clean light and functional.
Manchester House, Lounge.
This needed to be light and airy, now connecting with the kitchen as an open living space. But separated by the flooring to distinguish the areas.
Manchester House, The hall.
The first impression of the property. When I first walked in it I had to pull apart cobwebs to walk through.
Manchester House, Bedroom 1.
Bedroom 1 is a nice size with a great shape, the simple design is in line with the rest of the property.
Manchester House, Bedroom 2.
This is the room where the boiler will be situated, as you can see by the images all pipework etc had been taken out of the property. So my lovely trades had to start from scratch. Keeping the room clear, all pipework had to be laid under the floor.
So that’s a few of my before and after pictures. Please let me know what you think. Or if you are in the market to buy this lovely little property then please do get in touch.
