We need HELP! From an Interior Designer.

Our house needs to feel like our home. (Part 2)

My clients had purchased a new build. The move happened really quickly as the property was ready. So they moved in during November without any window treatments. They had engaged with a high street company that offered a design service with supply make and fit. They also pulled together some accessories, but there was still a lot to do to change their house into a home.

Before Photos of bedroom 3.

This was a guest room. It was all new but had little to any character. It needed some colour injected into it to bring it alive.

I started by reselecting the curtain fabric, John Lewis John Lewis Bjorn Citrine. My clients loved the colours on the lampshades which were next to the bed. So that’s where we started. Replacing the white roman blind with a Venetian blind also added a different look and feel to the room, with also its privacy aspects.

I changed the picture, added a coloured bed throw. Also, I selected a few accessories to help pull the look together.

The bases of the room were there it just needed a little character added in.

After Juby Interior Design.

This room was quick and easy to bring to life. Let me know your thoughts. I think the original scheme was as if you were looking at a black and white tv. The new scheme looks as though you can now see in colour.

If you need any help or advice then please do get in touch.
